RF HW Design Engineer

Job Description

 

• Perform simulations for RF HW design with 3D EM simulation tool for product integration
• Collaborate with internal and external cross-functional teams to ensure meets the specs
  
   

at the component, board, and system level.

 

• Understanding of HW design process and driving PDP from early prototyping, tuning,
  
   

validation, and certification in specific areas is a plus

 

• Connectivity RFHW design with expertise in one or more of the following areas: GPS,
  
   

NFC, WiFi, BT is a plus

 

• Skills (Must Have):
• 3+ years of experience with RF HW Design for wireless consumer electronics or similar
  
   

industry such as infotainment.

 

• Experience in 3D EM simulation for product level (preferred experience in Ansys-HFSS)
• Experience RF concepts such as impedance matching and Smith Charts
• Experience using RF simulation tools such as Keysight ADS, Momentum
• Skills (Good to Have):
• Experience with Siemens NX
• Experience in Cadence Virtuoso and EMX
• Experience with PCB layout and schematic capture for RF circuits
• Experience with LTE, WLAN, BT, GPS circuits, modules, and test specification
• Experience with RF equipment such as network analyzers, communication testers
  
   

(Litepoint, CMW500, Anritsu, etc.), spectrum analyzers, power meters, near field

scanners, etc

 

• Experience designing radios for consumer electronic devices
• Education/Experience: Minimum BSEE with 5+ years experience. MS or Phd degree is a plus.
