Rust Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Write, design, and test API’s (both RESTful and graphQL)
Design SQL and No-SQL database schemas for various features
Utilize numerous technologies such as NATS, OpenSearch, and Postgres when building a feature to provide an optimized user experience
Make trade-off decisions to balance the speed of development, the performance requirements of the feature, and the future scalability
Be a key contributor in establishing consistent and reusable patterns as apart of feature development
Basic Requirements

3+ years of relevant engineering experience at tech and product-driven companies
Excellent with standard git, devops, and agile engineering practices
Experience with backend, async, fault-tolerant, and server-side applications.
Excellent with backend API design both REST and GraphQL
Proficiency with relational databases like Postgres/MySQL including design, tuning, and safety
Proficiency with No-SQL Databases such as Redis/Cassandra/Neo4j
Ability to move fast in an environment where things are sometimes loosely defined and may have competing priorities or deadlines
