Job Summary: The SailPoint Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing identity and access management (IAM) solutions using SailPoint IdentityIQ. This role requires a deep understanding of IAM principles, strong technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams to ensure the security and efficiency of our identity management processes.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **SailPoint Implementation and Management:**
- Design and implement SailPoint IdentityIQ solutions to meet business requirements.
- Configure and customize SailPoint components, including workflows, rules, and connectors.
- Manage and maintain the SailPoint platform, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Integrate SailPoint with various systems and applications for provisioning, de-provisioning, and access management.
2. **Identity and Access Management:**
- Develop and enforce IAM policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular access reviews and audits to ensure compliance with security policies.
- Manage role-based access control (RBAC) and attribute-based access control (ABAC) models.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IAM-related issues and incidents.
3. **Collaboration and Support:**
- Work closely with IT, security, and business teams to gather requirements and deliver IAM solutions.
- Provide technical support and guidance on SailPoint-related matters.
- Develop and deliver training and documentation for end-users and administrators.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in IAM and security.
4. **Continuous Improvement:**
- Identify opportunities for improving IAM processes and solutions.
- Participate in the evaluation and selection of new IAM tools and technologies.
- Contribute to the development of IAM strategies and roadmaps.
- Monitor and respond to security threats and vulnerabilities related to IAM.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in identity and access management, with a focus on SailPoint IdentityIQ.
- Strong understanding of IAM principles, security protocols, and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in programming and scripting languages (e.g., Java, BeanShell, XML, PowerShell).
- Experience with directory services (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP) and database management.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., SailPoint Certified IdentityIQ Engineer, CISSP, CISM) are a plus.
