Business Systems Analyst - Remote Position

As a Business Systems Analyst, you will play a key role in collaborating with stakeholders and business areas to develop user stories and technical requirements for process or system solutions. Your focus will be on translating business requirements into IT requirements using Salesforce best practices and a low code/no code maxim approach. You will participate in all phases of the project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, end-user training, and application administration.

Responsibilities

 

  • Requirements Gathering and Solution Design
  • Conduct business process reviews to gather and document requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into IT requirements, leveraging Salesforce best practices.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop requirements for various initiatives.
  • Agile/Scrum Activities
  • Participate in all Agile/Scrum activities, including user story submission, backlog grooming, and sprint planning.
  • Assist in breaking down business partner stories and requirements into backlog items for the development team.
  • Collaborate with other team members in daily scrum sessions to ensure consistency in sprint schedules.
  • Technical Collaboration and Support
  • Participate in technical design reviews and collaborate on proposed technical solutions.
  • Work closely with developers, project managers, and business users to ensure effective communication and understanding of requirements.
  • Document and assign defects resulting from functional, regression, and load testing.
  • Compliance and Relationship Management
  • Maintain relationships with IT stakeholders, such as application architects and infrastructure teams.
  • Ensure compliance with State of New Hampshire Technology processes, including SDLC and code review process.
  • Take appropriate steps to protect PHI/PII/PCI.

     

Skills And Qualifications

 

  • 5+ years of experience as a Lead Analyst, Admin, or Developer.
  • 4 years of experience in Agile Methodology and SDLC Methodology.
  • 4 years of Project Management experience.
  • 3 years of experience with customer relationship management processes and systems.
  • 3 years of Salesforce.com experience, including Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
  • Thorough understanding of Salesforce standard functionality, custom objects, workflow rules, and user profiles.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Salesforce Administrator certification required.
  • Experience with Salesforce Public Sector (formerly Vlocity) and Capado is highly preferred.
