Description

As a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer on the Visible Base Marketing and CRM team, you will use your experience in design, development, and execution, to deploy personalized customer-centric communications across Acquisition, Retention and Base CRM programs.

Develop email, SMS, push, select audience criteria and build segmentation and journey's.

Marketing and Transactional communications and implement customer lifecycle programs.

Build emails, templates, interactive forms, and dynamic content blocks using Salesforce Marketing Cloud Content Builder.

Create and update customer journeys using Salesforce Marketing Cloud Journey Builder.

Create and update Automations and Automation activities (SQL Queries, File Transfers, Import Files, Data Extracts) in Automation Studio.

Create and update cloud pages in Web Studio.

Work with the engineering and testing teams to develop and QA automation triggers.

Documenting data/process flows and QA validations

Gather and translate business requirements into technology solutions and implement in an accurate and efficient manner.

Partner with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Business Intelligence, Analytics, Digital Operations, Legal, and Marketing.

Collaborate and assist other teams with SFMC campaigns and projects.

Be the channel expert for all things related to SFMC.

 

Must Have:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

3+ years of hands-on SFMC development experience either at an agency or in-house

Experience in HTML and CSS coding. Must be able to code without using a WYSIWYG interface.

Thorough understanding of data extensions, subscriber imports, and group creation based on data filters.

Excellent writing and communication skills

Strong project management skills, the ability to define processes and to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Able to communicate technical concepts for the broader organization

Knowledge with Agile-based project methodologies and tools (e.g. JIRA)

Hands-on HTML experience

Experience and adherence to strong QA processes

 

 

Preferred:

 

6+ years of email marketing experience, preferably in a CRM organization with focus on retention and subscription based services

6+ years of SQL experience

Experience with start-to-finish design and execution of multi-channel direct marketing/CRM programs

Hands-on experience with enterprise CRM/DB/ESP platforms (i.e Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign) working inside the tools to execute cross-channel, data-driven campaigns

Experience producing deliverables within a dynamic, fast-paced environment, collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams, and juggling multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously

Strong written and oral communication skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related areas

Certifications in Salesforce Marketing Cloud is preferred
