SAP Application Engineer

Job responsibilities

SAP Application Engineer - participate in the SAP related software development lifecycle, with focus on evergreen support of existing solutions as well as implement enhancements requiring significant knowledge of enabled business domain, workflows, and processes.

Technical Capabilities:

• Hands-on deep functional expertise in Sales and Distribution(SD) module with some exposure to MM module (material master, inventory management)
• Understanding of Sales and Logistics business process from a customer’s perspective
• Independently analyze requirements and implement solutions from design to deployment.
• Troubleshoot issues by debugging SAP programs (basic ABAP familiarity)
• Work on SAP integrations e.g., IDOC, OData/APIs

• Analyze issues reported in the business processes of Replenishment Planning, Scheduling Nominations in SAP TSW.
• Maintain TSW master data required to model the logistics chain.
• Review and deep dives on proposed enhancements in TSW and SPW.
• Perform feasibility analysis on all requested enhancements.
• Work with the development team in designing the solution and developing test scenarios.
• Perform Unit Testing and participate in User Acceptance Testing.
• Participate in User Trainings as required.
