Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Business Analyst with expertise in Finance to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial processes and SAP functionalities, and will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, optimizing financial processes, and ensuring that SAP systems support our finance and accounting functions effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Process Analysis:
o Analyze and document financial processes, workflows, and requirements to ensure they align with business objectives.
o Identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
2. SAP Finance Configuration:
o Configure and customize SAP Finance modules (e.g., SAP FI, SAP CO) to meet business requirements and optimize financial processes.
o Work with SAP technical teams to implement and test financial system changes, ensuring they meet functional specifications and performance standards.
3. Requirements Gathering and Documentation:
o Collaborate with finance stakeholders to gather and validate business requirements for SAP solutions.
o Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including business process flows, functional specifications, and user stories.
4. System Integration and Testing:
o Oversee the integration of SAP Finance modules with other SAP and non-SAP systems, ensuring seamless data flow and accuracy.
o Develop and execute test plans to validate system changes and enhancements, and ensure they meet business requirements and quality standards.
5. Reporting and Analytics:
o Design and develop financial reports and dashboards using SAP tools (e.g., SAP BW, SAP Analytics Cloud) to provide insights and support decision-making.
o Monitor financial data and performance metrics, and recommend actions to address any issues or opportunities for improvement.
6. Training and Support:
o Provide training and support to end-users on SAP Finance functionalities and processes.
o Develop training materials and user guides to facilitate effective use of SAP systems and ensure user proficiency.
7. Project Management:
o Support SAP Finance projects by participating in project planning, resource allocation, and progress tracking.
o Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure successful project delivery and alignment with business goals.
8. Compliance and Risk Management:
o Ensure that SAP Finance processes and systems comply with regulatory requirements, internal controls, and accounting standards.
o Identify and mitigate risks associated with financial processes and SAP systems.
Qualifications:
• Experience: Minimum of 10-12 years of experience as an SAP Business Analyst with a strong focus on Finance, including experience with SAP FI and SAP CO modules.
• Skills:
o In-depth knowledge of SAP Finance modules and their integration with other SAP and third-party systems.
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex financial processes and systems.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
o Experience with financial reporting, data analysis, and process optimization.
• Certifications: SAP certification in SAP FI/CO or related finance modules is preferred.
