  • Lead the design and implementation of Inbound Warehouse Processes, focusing on goods receipt, placement, and integration with supply chain activities, intercompany transactions, and returns. Ensure seamless flow from supplier deliveries to warehouse storage.
  • Implement Outbound Warehouse Processes to support goods removal related to sales orders, intercompany transactions, cost center transfers, scrapping, and vendor returns. Ensure that outbound processes are efficient and accurately reflect business operations.
  • Design and configure internal warehouse processes, including:
    • Supply to production, and managing the return of unused raw materials from production.
    • Goods placement from production to warehouse storage.
    • Internal movements, such as bin-to-bin transfers, material status changes, and reorganization within the warehouse.
    • Oversee and manage physical inventory, including cycle counting and reconciliation processes to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Configure and maintain key warehousing master data, including:
    • Material master data specific to warehouse management.
    • Storage bins and their assignments within the warehouse.
    • Control cycles for inventory management, ensuring accurate stock movement and reporting.
  • Support the ongoing monitoring and reporting of warehouse processes, including the development and implementation of KPIs, inventory accuracy checks, and operational efficiency metrics.
  • Work closely with business users, project managers, and other SAP functional teams to gather requirements, translate them into system configurations, and ensure the SAP solution aligns with business needs.
  • Lead or support testing efforts, including creating test scripts, executing tests, and ensuring successful validation of configurations through user acceptance testing (UAT) processes.
  • Document configuration settings, business processes, and support materials. Provide training and knowledge transfer to users and other team members to ensure smooth adoption and efficient use of SAP ECC WM functionality.
  • Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting issues, and handling change requests to continuously improve warehouse management processes and resolve operational challenges.


Requirements:
 

  • 10+ years of experience in SAP ECC Warehouse Management (WM) with multiple full life-cycle implementations.
  • Strong expertise in Inbound Warehouse Processing, including goods receipt, placement, and integration with external transactions like intercompany and returns.
  • In-depth experience in Outbound Warehouse Processing, particularly related to sales, intercompany movements, and vendor returns.
  • Expertise in Internal Warehouse Processing, including supply to production, material placement, and internal inventory movements.
  • Experience setting up key warehousing master data, such as material masters, storage bins, and control cycles.
  • Hands-on experience with Physical Inventory processes, including cycle counting and inventory reconciliation.
  • Ability to configure monitoring and reporting processes to track warehouse performance and inventory accuracy.
  • Excellent understanding of warehouse operations and SAP WM integration with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP MM, SAP SD, SAP PP).
  • Proven ability to collaborate with business teams and other SAP modules to meet project objectives.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in a warehouse management context.
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus, particularly around compliance, traceability, and regulatory requirements.
