SAP EWM Consultant

Job Description:

• They do not need to be an ABAP resource- just debugging skills and ability to write technical specs.
• core is EWM/WM with exp integrating with SD/LE,PP,MM,IM etc
• 6- 8 years is enough experience
• Client is looking for a Logistics Techno/functional SAP consultant with 6 to 8 years of experience in SAP ECC 6 LE ( WM, EWM and Transportation ) and MM ( Inventory management )
• Qualified candidates should be able to write Functional and technical design specs and work with Developers who develop Smart forms, Enhancements, BADI, Interfaces with MES, UPS/Fedex, API calls, Delivery Processing Shipment Processing , Carrier / route assignments & Freight Calculations
• An ability to work with Basis and Security teams to set up security roles and PI/PO Interfaces for MES and SAP IDOCS in addition to writing Functional Technical specs to enhance Picking slips, Packing slips and Bill of ladings, Commercial invoices printing.
• Successful candidates will be able to develop Functional and Technical specs and work with Developers for RF Transaction developments for picking, packing. Experience in Handling unit to support Picking, Packing and shipping functions and experience with EWM is preferred but not mandatory.
• Candidates should bring demonstrated experience with MM/LE integration points with QM, SD, PP and FI.
• Able to Implement cost effective solutions for Warehouse and Shipping ( Domestic and Exports ) Processes
• Experience in Mobilizing and automating the SAP Warehouse / Shipping processes
• Work with EDI team for Delivery, Shipment and Sales Order integration
• Experience in Transportation planning and scheduling, Pricing including Freight calculation and Freight settlements is preferred
• Candidates who have experience in additional areas such as SAP Plant Maintenance is a plus.
