SAP FICO Consultant

Roles and Responsibilities

• Bachelors degree in Finance/accounting or Engineering or Computer Science with 10-15 years of relevant experience out which minimum 10+ years of SAP FICO experience.

• Must have successfully participated in minimum 3-5 full life cycle end-to-end SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO) implementation projects.
• Strong FICO configuration skills and deep understanding of all standard SAP FICO processes. Hands on experience in SAP ECC 6.0 OR SAP S/4 HANA with focus on SAP FICO modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, FSCM, Product Costing and Profitability Analysis (COPA). Should be able to understand the integration points with FI and Logistics modules. Experience in Project System is desirable.
• Good project management skills is MUST to drive key transformation initiatives.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
• Experience in conducting requirements analysis, meeting with business owners, and performing current state system analysis.
• Extremely goal-oriented, innovative and Quick learner, adapts easily to new situations/challenges.
• Exceptional competency in handling tasks both individually as well as within a team
• Should be able to write test scripts and SOPs w.r.t finance and accounting functions. Write program specifications for system enhancements, reports & data-load programs.
• Work with internal & external developers to develop and test programs.
• Manage data conversions and loads. Validate data conversions, system enhancements from SAP Finance and Controlling point of view.
• Flexible & dynamic team player with ability to work independently with business users and manage multiple assignments. Interact with project/delivery teams on regular basis to provide guidance to deliver channel and acquisition projects in timely manner.
• Strong leadership skills and communication skills in a global environment and drive necessary changes for accounting and finance process improvements
• Prepare for and conduct training for business users and others in SAP functions.
