Job Description
Responsibilities include:
• Responsible for developing and managing SAS and SQL reporting solutions and delivery, including both the planning and design of new solutions to support the department’s reporting requirements, ongoing management, production support, monitoring, and accountability for those solutions
• Work closely with project team members (Analysts, Scientist Leaders, Analytic Advisors/Managers, Sales and Operations) and clients to complete projects that will meet clients’ needs
• Engage with business stakeholders and advise strategic solutions for their business intelligence needs
• Requirements should be documented to assist technicians to build the functional/ integration component
• Delivery is expected through an Agile delivery model delivering the outputs on the Teradata(database) and SAS (ETL)
• Design, track and interpret key performance indicators and analytical models driving Field Operations strategy and productivity
• Recommend and establish action plans based on such indicators/models to mitigate risks and optimize Field performance
• Create/maintain static and Ad-Hoc deliverables to communicate field performance and increase technician level efficiency
• Compile/mine data from multiple business sources
• Actively participate with project teams to resolve data anomalies and methodology questions
• Work closely with statistical modelers to apply models in SAS in order to produce accurate, efficient, and traceable forecast results
Skills Required:
SQL ,ODS, SAS Graph, Visualizations, Base SAS, Macro programming, SAS Procedures, Microsoft Office products
Listed SAS products and the proven ability to create solutions in complex environments
Basic Qualifications
• 7+ years of hands-on development using SAS base & advanced programming technologies
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in SQL programming and ability to extract large volume of data from Oracle/SQL Server/Snowflake DBs.
• Should have exposure to Agile methodologies.
• Expertise in using GitHub Repositories.
• 7+ years using Oracle/SQL Server/Snowflake (or other relational database) and Unix/Linux commands.
Preferred Qualifications
• SAS Base/Advanced Certifications
• Excellent communication, design, documentation, analytical, and SDLC skills.
• Work independently and with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work independently and multitask within a collaborative work environment
* Python or Big Data knowledge will be an added advantage.
• Willingness and aptitude for continuous improvement
