SAS Developer

Job Description:
Develop and improve existing load processes and data integration using SAS. 
Convert existing SAS code into high quality SAS code that is efficient (fast), automated, maintainable, and follows industry best practices.
Assist with SAS administration including performance tuning and scheduling programs. 
Assist with migrating SAS code to Python and Spark technologies.
Maintain DB2 queries and make any modifications on the CL jobs as needed.
Expertise in ODBC connections and integration to different databases.
CI/CD and CT integration for automated Code Deployments and testing.
AWS technologies like Ec2 and redshift to unload and load data.

Required:
7-10 years of SAS experience developing, configuring, and administering SAS solutions. 
Analyze, develop, code, test, debug and document SAS Code.
Review complex SAS dynamic logic and built/configure frameworks to produce same results using Python/spark technologies.
Experience with scheduling with BMC Control M.
Experience with DB2 queries.
Strong experience with SAS 9.1.4, Linux, SAS studio. 
Creative problem-solving required to design a system that meets project requirements.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be knowledgeable of best practices using SAS (Studio, macros, programs, and Enterprise studio). 
Strong SQL experience.
Experience with performance tuning SAS servers, troubleshooting, and automation of SAS jobs and code. 
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Creates, develops, and produces mapping documents.
