SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST

Position Description

Determines operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; Evaluating output requirements and formats; Designs new computer programs by analysing requirements; constructing workflow charts and diagrams; Studying system capabilities; Writing specifications. Improves systems by studying current practices; Designing modifications; Develop basic key performance metrics reports and analysis; Perform data analytics within project development life cycle; Recommends controls by identifying problems; Writing improved procedures; Defines project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements; Monitors project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; Peer reivew of program codes of developers; publishing progress reports; recommending actions. Maintains system protocols by writing and updating procedures. Provides references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation; Providing help desk support and training users; Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; Develop or review predictive modeling activities; application count projection models, staffing models, etc.; Relocation/ telecommuting may be required plus travel to various unanticipated client locations within the United States for short and long term assignments.

Education

Master’s Degree in Computer Science/Computer Applications/Engineering (Information Science & Engineering/Electronics).   Will accept Bachelors in Computer Science/Computer Applications/Engineering (Information Science & Engineering /Electronics) plus five (5) years of progressive experience in related fields in lieu of Masters Degree.  Will accept foreign education equivalent.
