Senior Data Architect

Job Summary: The Senior Data Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing robust data architectures that support our accounting and financial data systems. This role requires expertise in data structures, volume transactions, data security, and cloud developments, with a focus on ensuring data accuracy, validation, and redundancy. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with both relational and non-relational databases, finance taxonomies, and common data models, including Microsoft Dataverse.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement scalable data architectures for accounting and financial data systems.
Develop and maintain data structures to handle high-volume transactions efficiently.
Ensure data security, redundancy, and compliance with industry standards.
Implement data accuracy and validation processes to maintain data integrity.
Lead cloud development initiatives, including migration and integration of data systems.
Manage and optimize relational and non-relational databases.
Develop and maintain finance taxonomies and common data models.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide solutions.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Data Architect or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of accounting and financial data systems.
Expertise in data structures, volume transactions, and data security.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
Proficiency in relational (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) and non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
Familiarity with finance taxonomies and common data models, including Microsoft Dataverse.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes.
Knowledge of data governance and compliance regulations.
Certification in cloud platforms or data architecture.
