Senior Data Architect

As a Senior Data Architect:

The daily work depends on customer and their demand but as a Senior Data Architect you would typically be:

Responsible for designing and refining data architecture to ensure the integrity, scalability, and efficiency of data systems.

Developing data models, database structures, and architecture blueprints that meet business requirements.

Play a critical role in defining and implementing the customer's data strategy, ensuring that it aligns with long-term business goals.

Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand the specific data needs of various teams, providing them with solutions that drive better decision-making.

Beyond design and strategy, a significant part of the role involves ensuring customer interactions and presales activities. You would collaborate with clients to understand their data challenges, business objectives, and technical requirements, translating these into tailored solutions.

By engaging directly with customers, you would clarify the technical aspects of proposals, demonstrating the value of the data architecture and how it aligns with the customer’s goals. During presales, you would also contribute to solution presentations and proof of concept (POC) designs and hands-on implementation, ensuring that potential clients are confident in the proposed approach.

“Sounds interesting. So, what would be required from me?”:

You have previous experience in design and hands-on implementation, deployment verification, migration / development application to Azure, GCP or AWS.

You have several years of experience in the traditional IT in addition to cloud.

You are an enthusiast towards data and cloud architecture, designing and/or being a strong builder and executioner of these architectures including modelling of them

It really helps if you are possessing a history of successful IT consulting and architecture engagements with large-scale corporations

Communication with Swedish language is must as you would be working directly also with customer stakeholders who might prefer local language. Also, some documentation customers are having might be written in Swedish.

It is meritorious if you also have:

Event-based / real-time architecture experience with technologies such as Kafka on Confluent.

Hands-on experience on AI, ML, GenAI is big plus.

Analytics domain experience on technologies such as Snowflake, Synapse, Databricks

We provide assistance for our customers with their Data & Analytics and Roadmap development based on their Business goals (capturing As-Is state, To-be architecture and gaps) and building Transition state architecture. Experience in this kind of consulting cases is also a big plus

Several of our customers are working with some kind of agile model like SAFe or Scrum so agile methods should be familiar to you. But if not, we have great learning capabilities also from these areas for you to master
