Senior Data Engineer (Health+)

Responsibilities

• Awareness on information security measures such as acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, password security
• Understand and report security risks and how they impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
• Understand how data is stored, processed, or transmitted from a Data privacy and protection standpoint

Responsibilities

• ·       Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Hadoop and EMR.
• ·       Implement data processing tasks using Python.
• ·       Write and optimize SQL queries for data transformation and analysis.
• ·       Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other engineering teams to ensure seamless data flow and processing.
• ·       Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• ·       Experience with Hadoop and EMR.
• ·       Proficiency in Python.
• ·       Strong SQL skills.
• ·       Familiarity with Kafka is a plus.
• ·       Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• ·       Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• ·       Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and improving existing systems
