What You’ll Need

Strong Knowledge on RDBMS (Oracle/ MySQL/Postgres)
Strong Oracle & MySQL knowledge
Design, implement and administer the database systems Oracle and MYSQL
Maintain data consistency and integrity
Evaluate DB regularly to ensure data security, privacy and integrity
Manage database access (users, roles and privileges)
Monitor database performance, implement changes and apply new patches and versions
Manage the storage and capacity planning
Perform database migrations
Knowledge of NoSQL, document-oriented database (Mongo)
Backup and recovery strategies
High availability and Disaster recovery implementations
Proactively finding opportunities to enhance the stability and performance of the DB

systems. Doing periodic sanity like DB cleanup, indexing and Normalisation

Working with Engineering teams to assist them with DB query performance optimisation
DB monitoring configuration & supporting 24 *7 DBA on-call
Mentoring the junior DBA engineers with Best practices in DB administration
Keeping abreast with latest developments in DB technologies related to Cloud platforms
Experience in managing DB systems on-premise and cloudhosted DB instances preferably on
