Role /Job Description-
Understand the HCV truck layout and finalize the final Truck Design Part list (run order) according to customer special request by following specific order routines.
Checking PDM system errors and resolving them by changing with right specification code while doing order.
Truck systems /Components level good technical knowledge (SCR tank, fuel tank, Exhaust system, rear overhang, Extended inner liner, Cab, support leg preparation, etc.) to work independently.
Generate the order breakdown for CATIA via customer PDM system and check the for correct components and their positions in CATIA according to customer request.
Generate Engineering Change Order (ECO/SPECO) for each individual Truck order.
Able to Update the Product Structure (KS) of the vehicle in PDM for respective order by using the ECO/SPECO.
Able to Create and Update the Mounting Drawings (Air tank, p-pipe drawings & soon) of the vehicle for respective Truck.
Engineering Change requests in ENOVIA V5.
Develop detailed part models and drawings in Catia V5 as per new packaging requirements in Truck variants.
Create documentation for project reports and meetings.
Communicate with Cross functional teams in India and abroad.
Independent, self-motivated, result oriented individual.
Skills-
2-8 years of 3D CAD experience in Off-Highway Vehicles, specifically in Trucks.
Truck systems /Components level good technical knowledge
Strong working knowledge of Catia V5, 3D Experience ENOVIA V5 VPM.
Experience with being part of a project from concept to production. Knowledge of Product life cycle.
Strong Knowledge on Vehicle Integration of LDT, MDT & HDT Trucks
Strong Knowledge on Structure updates with conditions.
Ability of handling production deviations on time.
Good Communication skills interacting with cross functional team.
Ability to effectively represent information and respond to questions in a meeting environment.
Strong Basics of Engineering Drawings and Standards.
Strong working knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack-up.
Good knowledge of materials and their properties.
Strong basic knowledge of FEA of Mechanical components. (stress, strain, weight optimization, etc.).
Knowledge of common manufacturing processes used for automotive parts like Castings, forming, plastic Mouldings, metal stamping design, fabrication methods, etc.
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
Strong technical writing skills. (Design reports and presentation).
Good Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
