Senior Developer- Full-stack JavaScript

Summary

At SAP Signavio we are expanding our product development team in Dublin. In this role, you will work with a high energy team delivering technical excellence designing and developing a scalable SaaS solution on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). You’ll also work together with product management, designers, and QA to ensure product success.

The Role

Lead the development and implementation of complex features and functionality
Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and performance optimization.
You own your code, test driving development approach
Quality is everything. Write unit tests, Integration test and E2E tests
Work together with design, frontend engineers and product management to deliver new and improve existing features.
Provides feedback into Product Architecture for continuous improvement
Participate in Agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
Continuously enhance the software development process, promoting efficiency, quality, and innovation.
Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical leadership and fostering a collaborative environment.

Role And Responsibilities

4 to 10 years’ experience working in engineering environment.
Strong knowledge of software development best practices, including code reviews, testing methodologies, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
Proven track record of designing and developing scalable, highly available, and secure software solutions.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to debug complex issues and provide effective solutions.
Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Track record in Java development in an engineering environment.
Strong knowledge of agile software development processes
Aware of the fast-changing IT landscape and confident to suggest new innovative ways to achieve product features.

SAP operates a hybrid working model of three days per week in the SAP office.
