Senior Devops Engineer

Description

Programmers Force is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of DevOps to join our team. As the Head of DevOps, you will be responsible for leading and managing our DevOps team, overseeing the continuous integration and delivery processes, and driving the adoption of best practices and automation.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the DevOps team, providing guidance and mentorship
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines
Design and implement infrastructure and deployment strategies
Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of our systems
Drive the adoption of DevOps best practices and automation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create efficient and secure development workflows
Monitor and analyze system performance, and implement optimizations
Manage cloud infrastructure and services
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in DevOps

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Proven experience in a senior DevOps role, with management and leadership experience
Strong knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
Experience with infrastructure as code tools and techniques (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
Strong scripting and programming skills (e.g., Bash, Python)
Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
