SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

What will you be doing?

- Report to the Engineering Manager and work in a multi-functional team

- New product design and development

- Ability to lead a project from inception through production

- Design new products (end items and components) by project plans and schedule

- Developing and prototyping PCB layouts, ensuring optimal placement and routing for signal integrity, power distribution, and thermal management

- Develop and maintain design requirement specifications, test plans, control plans, and technical data sheets for newer products

- Develop firmware for products using C language

- Develop testing systems and procedures. Conducting thorough testing and validation of electronic hardware, including functional testing,

performance characterization, and environmental testing (e.g., temperature, humidity, vibration)

- Interface with customers and participate in system and field testing of electronic products.

- Lead cross-functional teams to optimize new designs to meet quality, cost, and schedule requirements driven by specific customer or market needs.

Qualifications

What are the minimum qualifications?

- Bachelor’s in electrical engineering or a related discipline

- 8+ years of experience in electronics design/testing and firmware development

- Strong proficiency in analogy design with some digital design experience

- Proficiency in embedded programming using C

- Strong knowledge of test equipment and its operation for analog/digital circuits

- Familiar with DMM/Oscilloscope/Signal Generators/Power Supplies and any other equipment required to complete daily duties

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

What will make your résumé stand out?

- Knowledge of Microchip, STMicro, or TI microprocessors

- Knowledge with wireless sensor communication such as BLE, IoT, etc.

- High frequency and circuit design

- Familiarity with signal processing techniques and tools like MATLAB AND LABVIEW

- Experience with High Volume Design for Manufacturability

- Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages for test automation
