Senior Engineer- GCP Database - Datastore

Senior GCP data engineers:

• Build scalable systems, lead technical discussions, deliver good quality results, participate in code reviews and guide the team in engineering best practices.
• Provide technical leadership and contribute to the definition, development, integration, test, documentation and support across multiple platforms. (GCP, Python, Machine Learning)
• Establish a consistent project management framework and develop processes to deliver high quality software, in rapid iterations, for business partners in multiple geographies.
• Participate in a team that designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for databases, applications, tools etc.
• Experienced in balancing production platform stability, feature delivery and reduction of technical debt across a broad landscape of technologies.
• You have consistently high standards, your passion for quality is inherent in everything.
• Knowledge of Statistical and machine learning models and Experience with

-GCP, Python, Hadoop, Spark, Cloud, Scala, Streaming (pub/sub), Kafka, SQL, data proc, data flow

-Data warehouses, distributed data platforms and data lakes

-Database definition, schema design, Looker Views, Models

-DS and Algorithm

-CI/CD

• You evangelize an extremely high standard of code quality, system reliability, and performance.
• You have a proven track record coding with at least one programming language (e.g., Scala, Python) and
• Excellent structured thinking skills, with the ability to break down multi-dimensional problems.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and work in a fast-moving environment with multiple stakeholders.
