Senior Infrastructure Technical Specialist

Responsibilities:

To manage and optimize mainframe storage systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and data integrity across enterprise-level environments.

Manage and optimize mainframe storage, including IBM Virtual Tape and DELL EMC systems.
Install, configure, and upgrade storage software, ensuring system reliability.
Monitor and troubleshoot storage systems, resolving issues swiftly to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with application teams to address and resolve storage-related concerns.
Provide 24x7 technical support, including coordinating with vendors for issue resolution. 
The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in mainframe storage management, specifically within a z/OS environment.

Skills/Requirement:

10+ years in mainframe storage management within a z/OS environment.
Proficient in configuring SAN switches and managing IBM Virtual Tape systems.
Strong experience with DELL EMC SRDF/GDDR, including replication configurations.
Skilled in REXX, JCL, TSO/ISPF, and other mainframe storage tools.
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
