Description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Client: Lead projects to ensure proper scoping, committals, and delivery time frames.
  • Assist in the selection of vendors and specialized consultants through defined processes.
  • Guides stakeholders to ensure project obligations and responsibilities are clearly outlined.
  • Execute efficient and effective communication with all team members and stakeholders.
  • Partner with business units to ensure compliance with negotiated MSA/contractual terms and rate cards.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external collaborators.
  • Manages and drives communication between project team members, senior management, and technical teams.
  • Implement contracted services on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
  • Develop, manage, and distribute department forms, procedures, run books, reports, etc.
  • Recommend process and procedure revisions for continuous improvement.
  • Leads weekly project status meetings with vendors and project team.
  • Determines project scope, milestones, tasks, risks, assumptions, objectives, and dependencies.
  • Use Microsoft Project and other tools to document, schedule, track, and report on projects.
  • Document and publish meeting agendas and minutes, track action items, owners, and due dates.
  • Prepare status reports to keep management, clients, and project team informed.
  • Analyzes requests for changes from original specifications and provides recommended guidance
  • Leads departmental objectives and metrics to provide high levels of customer service.
  • Mentors and develops more junior level project managers 
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

 

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Seasoned experience with Windows Operating System
  • Seasoned experience with standard Project Management toolsets such as MS Project, JIRA, Planview, etc.
  • Knowledge of IT Service Delivery, managed services, and/or cloud computing preferred.
  • Knowledge of ITIL a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project).
  • Highly motivated self-starter.
  • Ability to multi-task and remain calm in a dynamic environment.

 

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and/or work experience required.
  • Possession of a PMP and a minimum of 7 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Seasoned experience working in a similar position in a global organization.
  • Experience overseeing projects through the full life cycle.
  • Experience working closely with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience managing resources within a project life cycle
