Senior Java Developer/Scrum Master

Job Description: Collaborating as part of a cross-functional Agile team to create and enhance software that enables state of the art, next generation Counterparty Data platform that enables our cloud transformation journey Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines Working with large, complex data sets from a variety of sources Participate in the rapid development of user-driven prototypes to identify technical options and inform multiple architectural approaches Building efficient storage and search functions over structured and unstructured data Utilizing programming languages like Java, Scala, Python, Relational and NoSQL databases Leveraging DevOps techniques and practices like Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Test Automation, Build Automation and Test-Driven Development to enable the rapid delivery of working code utilizing tools like Jenkins, Gradle and Git Basic Qualifications 10+ years of experience in development of high-quality java solutions Experience as a Scrum master for a distributed team Strong analytical and problem-solving ability Experience with Java8+, Kafka, Mongo, Event driven systems Experience with design and build of high performance, low latency distributed systems Hands-on experience with Azure/AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Spring Boot, Microservices. Experience with SQL, NoSql like MongoDB Have experience documenting system level software and knows best practices about 'docs as code' (e.g., by having used Git, Markdown) Familiarity and hands-on experience with profiling, code efficiency, and building software via continuous delivery pipeline Knowledge of Monitoring and Observability Tools like Prometheus, Grafana
