  • The opportunity you will be working in the Utilities team of client where you and 7 colleagues are responsible for the Utilities (installations) on the Pharmaceutical site of client.
  • Within the right conditions, these utilities, such as Clean steam, Purified water, Water for injection and HVAC, are essential for the production of medicines to which you directly contribute.
  • You will work in the day shift, where you are responsible for the optimal technical performance and availability of the Utilities together with the Technicians, fellow Maintenance engineer, Automation Engineer and Team Manager.

 

How you’ll spend your day

  • Optimizing the availability of installations, systems, and buildings. This by setting up, preparing, and analyzing corrective and preventive maintenance of the various installations, systems and buildings according to GMP (pharmaceutical guidelines) and safety guidelines.
  • Optimizing the existing preventive long-term maintenance plan by analyzing maintenance and breakdowns.
  • Perform root-cause analysis in case of (complex) malfunctions, GMP reporting and ensuring adequate follow-up of the defined measurement.
  • Ensuring proper recording and documentation of maintenance activities according to GMP standards.
  • Making appointments and coordinating external suppliers.
  • Making proposals for technical modifications to ensure a higher availability and/or an improved operation of our installations. And supervise these modifications.
  • Guiding and training colleagues in the use of the installations, systems, and internal work
  • processes.

 

Your experience and qualifications

  • HBO working and thinking level, and preferably a completed HBO course in Mechanical.
  • Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Technology, Physics or Technical Business Administration.

 

Analytical skills.

  • Knowledge of maintenance.
  • Good command of English, both orally and in writing.
  • Positive basic attitude / appearance and a hands-on mentality.
  • Work experience in a similar position is a plus.
  • Pharmaceutical experience is a plus.
