Position Summary

 

As a Senior Manager, Engineering you will be responsible for leading a team of highly talented software engineers working to deliver Ivanti’s UEM applications. The ideal candidate for this role will have experience leading engineering teams focused on iOS and Android application development.

 

  • Lead, design, develop and deliver Ivanti UEM Applications
  • Lead a geographically distributed team of engineers on all aspects of software design, implementation, and best practices
  • Drive interaction with cross-functional groups including product manager, customer support and sales to develop new functionality and support existing customers.
  • Lead all phases of the application development process: from concept to end delivery and support for enterprise customers and third-party developers
  • Ability to own and oversee simultaneous development of multiple features; including other client and server platforms as the Ivanti product line evolves.
  • Plan, implement, and release product based on the Agile scrum development process
  • Coach engineers on the team to be successful.

Minimum Qualifications

 

  • 6+ years of experience leading software engineering teams working on Mobile applications 
  • Direct hands-on experience leading Engineering teams building sophisticated Mobile applications on iOS and/or Android 
  • Experience developing Mobile (Android or iOS) applications and frameworks 
  • Experience providing guidance and support to the team to handle any issues 
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration, Unit Testing, etc. 
  • Proficient in Architecture and Design of complex and cross-functional software projects 
  • Strong fundamentals around Algorithms, Data Structures, and practical applications of these to build software systems 
  • Strong proponent of Engineering best practices and track record of addressing engineering efficiency bottlenecks 
  • Strong understanding of Mobile (Android or iOS) internals 
  • Track record of running Engineering projects with a Quality First mindset 

 

Even Better If You Have:

 

  • Experience developing iOS and/or Android applications and frameworks and strong understanding of iOS and Android internals
  • Proficient in Architecture and Design of complex and cross-functional software projects
  • Strong fundamentals around Algorithms, Data Structures, and practical applications of these to build software systems
  • Strong proponent of Engineering best practices and track record of addressing engineering efficiency bottlenecks
  • Track record of running Engineering projects with a Quality First mindset
