Senior PowerBI Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Create data models to support reporting requirements.
- Implement best practices in data visualization to deliver clear and actionable insights.

Data Integration:
- Connect to various data sources, including SQL databases, Excel, and cloud-based data sources.
- Develop and optimize DAX calculations and queries.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity through ETL processes.

Collaboration:
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and understand requirements.
- Collaborate with data engineers and other team members to ensure seamless data integration.
- Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI functionalities.

Performance Optimization:
- Monitor and optimize the performance of Power BI solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data quality and performance.

Documentation and Governance:
- Document technical specifications and user guides for developed solutions.
- Implement data governance and security measures to protect sensitive information.
- Ensure compliance with organizational data policies and standards.

Qualifications:

Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.

Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in business intelligence and data analytics.
- Proven experience in developing Power BI solutions.
- Strong experience with SQL, data modeling, and ETL processes.

Technical Skills:
- Expertise in Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.
- Proficient in SQL and data modeling.
- Experience with Azure Data Services (e.g., Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory) is a plus.
- Knowledge of other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik) is an advantage.
