Senior Product Manager role:
Our eCommerce platform team needs enterprising Product Managers who will work on the challenges
and problems that will shape the consumer buying experience. eCommerce Innovation spans the entire
Samsung.com platform ecosystem of Payments, Financing, Cart and Checkout and Special projects. You
will lead the product road map across multiple consumer-facing verticals, leveraging your unique
background and skill sets You will be responsible for detailed planning and execution of the new initiatives
and will be required to scale and lead a team as these initiatives gain traction. The role requires
coordination and building alignment across multiple internal and external stakeholders. We are looking
for a Product Manager with a strong record of owning and executing strategic, cross-functional projects
as well as partnering with other teams to drive key mission-critical innovation programs.
Key Responsibilities
You will be expected to:
Product vision and strategy - responsible for setting and owning the product vision and strategy.
Product roadmaps and release management - Participate, sharing knowledge and collaborating with engineers, and help the team derive the roadmap and release plans from the vision and strategy and translate them into actionable items.
Cross-functional collaboration – as the key owner and driver of the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, you are responsible for aligning with other key stakeholders in the product development lifecycle. This requires working with other departments to drive the product strategy forward.
Working in a culture of experimentation, learning, and innovation in order to solve user needs within the domain.
Needs to be highly effective in building outstanding customer journeys and associated CX by navigating use cases from ecommerce, supply chain, logistics, direct marketing, multi-channel partnerships, etc.
Work independently and in a team environment in order to achieve customer business objectives, personal and team goals and complete assignments within established timeframes and specifications.
The ability to develop tasks and work assignments, based on sometime vaguely defined objectives.
Create timelines and roadmaps for developing the product and oversee development and project management processes
Communication – you will be working directly with the leadership team to communicate and drive
product plans, metrics, and roadmaps.
Key Requirements
Excellent analytical skills to break down and solve complex problems. Past experience in handling data-based and highly analytical problems
9+ years of professional experience in Product Management most of them from a product company
Ability to understand and talk about technology; proactiveness in developing an understanding of various applications of technology
Entrepreneurial spirit to growth hack and work in a dynamic environment
Experience with the eCommerce domain, with Cart/Checkout and Payments experience will be an added advantage.
