Senior Project Manager

This is a technical IT Project Management role within Our Client Digital Technology Client. This role will provide multiple essential functions within software development and business process solutions to include but not limited to:

" Owns and drives one or more software development and implementation projects through completion with minimal oversight.

" Directs the work of project team members and consultants/contractors.

" Development and maintenance of all required project documents including 1) A Project Charter 2) A Project Management Plan 3) Requirements documents 4) Design documents 5) Input to Clienthitecture documents 6) Test Plan 7) Test results 8) Implementation Plans 9) Post Implementation and Lessons Learned 10) Project schedules and budgets 11) Resource management plans in adherence to Our Clients Project Lifecycle Management Plan (PLMP) framework.

" Holds project status and other meetings with the stakeholders and the project team members as necessary.

" Produces weekly status reports for each project.

" Actively manages high quality project schedule via the use of MS Enterprise Project Management (EPM) and MS Project.

" Actively monitors, documents, and reports on new risk and issues.

" Engages with the team members and vendors to resolve pending issues.

" Present projects at the Quality Gates

" Reports schedule and budget variances

" May document business and functional requirements.

" May document test plans and drive the testing efforts on the project.

" May create a Statement of Work (SOW) for the Request for Proposal (RFP) and associated vendor response evaluation. Verify the creation of all documents from vendors as outlined in the SOW or creation of new ones as required.

Required Skillset

" At least ten years experience and significant hands-on IT Project management experience from project initiation to implementation using formal project management methodologies and processes for software development and implementation projects.

" Experienced with both Agile and waterfall methodologies.

" Understands the software development lifecycle from inception to completion.

" Demonstrated ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders including senior executives.

" Demonstrated ability to apply strong analytical skills.

" Ability to understand technical issues and bring them to a closure.

" Demonstrated effective communicator and writer, able to tailor message to receiving audience.

" Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.

" Demonstrated experience using Jira, Confluence, MS Project Office Professional and MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.

" PMP Certified

Optional Skillset

" Experience with data ingestion processes and BI reporting.

" Experience with product evaluation and selection process

" Experience with AWS

" Effectively articulate the roles and functions of multiple IT Clients and how they interact.

" Experience with project management tools such as MS Project Server (EPM)

" JIRA, iterative development methodologies
