Senior React Developer

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior React Developer located in Bengaluru. The Senior React Developer will develop and maintain high-quality software using React and other related libraries and frameworks. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and provide customized solutions, and will work closely with UX designers, product managers, and back-end engineers.

You will be working closely with our collaborative team, supporting and building projects as required. The code you write will need to be cleanly organized and of the highest quality. You’ll also help ensure solid application performance and an excellent user experience

Responsibilities:

• Developing new features and user interfaces from wireframe models
• Ensuring the best performance and user experience of the application
• Fixing bugs and performance problems
• Writing clean, readable, and testable code
• Cooperating with back-end developers, designers, and the rest of the team to deliver well-architected and high-quality solutions

Qualifications

• 5 years of professional experience with web development using React
• Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Experience with Redux, React Native, and GraphQL
• Linux: Ubuntu or RedHat
• Web Servers: Apache
• Database: PostgreSQL / PostGIS
• Demonstrated expertise in web application development and software engineering best practices
• Strong knowledge of performance optimization techniques and experience improving website speed and user experience
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in teams
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and software engineering collaboration tools such as Git, Jira, and Confluence
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cloud Experience (AWS, Azure)
• Prior experience working in Utility or Telecom IT Projects Experience would be an asset.
• Experience with Geoserver, Open Layers
• Experience working with Geospatial Data
• Experience working with Postgres - able to write triggers, functions, procedures, sql code etc..
