Responsibilities:

 

Maintain the current backend by improving its performance, removing production bugs, and removing technical debt
Architect the backend system to improve performance, structure, and maintainability
Improve the database
Document RESTful endpoints, technical processes, architectural decisions, etc.
Test new and existing backend features
Collaborate on new features with mobile developers
Bring deep technical expertise and leadership to guide the current backend team of 3 developers
Qualifications:


8+ of overall experience
4+ years in Architect/Design experience in Backend applications
6+ years in Experience in Backend Development using JavaScript 
4+ years of experience in Backend Development using Node.js
4+ years of experience in SQL or MYSQL development
4+ years of experience in REST API’s
AWS experience is a plus
