Senior Software Engineer

A Sr. Level Engineer with board bring up experience and debugging with Strong design and development experience in SQL and JAVA.

Pre-requisite:

·         Flexible to overlap with APAC region.

Technical Skills:

·         Candidate must have minimum of 4-7 years’ experience working in a similar role

·         Able to analyse issues and define high level solutions and provide technical strategy recommendations for clients.

·         Experience working in a technical trouble shooting environment

·         Previous knowledge of installing software, creating test environments

·         Good knowledge of SQL and in-depth experience of Databases such as Oracle, DB2, SQL Server and PostgreSQL

·         Good knowledge of application servers such as WebSphere, WebLogic, Apache Tomcat, and JBoss

·         Good knowledge of Unix (Solaris, AIX, Linux, HP UX)

·         Exposure and familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC)

·         Experience working in an Agile environment

Process Skills:

§   Working knowledge in the NetReveal product or any other similar financial compliance and fraud prevention product

§   Performance tuning at a database level

§   Understanding of Java and J2EE architectures

§   Knowledge of XML and real time messaging queues and systems

§   Exposure to the Financial/Banking and/or Insurance related industry

Behavioral Skills:

·         Resolve technical issues of projects and Explore alternate designs

·         Participates as a team member and fosters teamwork by inter-group coordination within the modules of the project.

·         Effectively collaborates and communicates with the stakeholders and ensure client satisfaction

·         Train and coach members of project groups to ensure effective knowledge management activity.

Qualification:

·         Somebody who has at least 4-7 years of work experience.

·         BA/BS degree or foreign equivalent
