Senior Technical Program Manager

Job Description:

• We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Program/Scrum Manager to join our Connectivity Business Unit. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all programs and projects within the connectivity domain, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and driving successful project execution. Your primary focus will be on managing multiple vendors, overseeing the scrum process, resolving interdependencies, maintaining team harmony, and contributing to the achievement of quarterly engineering goals.

Responsibilities:

Program and Project Management:

• Lead and oversee all programs and projects within the Connectivity Business Unit.
• Ensure alignment with business objectives and strategic goals.
• Drive successful execution from initiation to completion.

Vendor Management:

• Manage relationships with multiple vendors.
• Collaborate with vendors to ensure deliverables align with project timelines and quality standards.
• Conduct regular vendor performance reviews.

Scrum Management:

• Implement and manage the scrum process for efficient project delivery.
• Foster a collaborative and agile team environment.
• Resolve impediments and ensure the team's focus on delivering value.
• Interdependency Resolution:
• Identify and address interdependencies between projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve conflicts and bottlenecks.

Team Harmony:

• Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.
• Address team concerns and maintain a harmonious working environment.
• Reporting and Presentations:
• Prepare comprehensive business reports, status updates, and presentations.
• Communicate project progress and key metrics to stakeholders.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in AWS services for IoT.
• Strong knowledge of Node.js and React.js for application development.
• Experience with MQTT and API integration.
• Hands-on experience in debugging IoT connectivity issues.
• Manage PROD event management and support.
• Assist the team in finding Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for technical issues.

• Contribute to the achievement of quarterly engineering goals.
• Work collaboratively with the team to meet and exceed performance targets.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Technical Program Manager or Scrum Manager.
• Strong understanding of connectivity technologies.
• Excellent vendor management skills.
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or similar certification is a plus.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
