What will be your responsibilities?

- Deployment of Netcracker PaaS platform based on OpenShift and Kubernetes, Openstack.
- Deployment of Netcracker applications on Netcracker and third party cloud platforms.
- Troubleshooting of applications on Netcracker and third party cloud PaaS platforms.
- Creation of templates, containers, deployment configuration files.
- Experience in working within international team of engineers residing in multiple timezones
- Cloud Engineer responsible for leading and driving the adoption and usage of infrastructure and operational environments that support migration to API and Micro services development and Digital Transformation.
- Emphasis on the various open source and vendor provided tools and technologies that are integrated together to support a fully robust API developer enablement environment.
- Individual should be an expert in automated code integration and delivery tools (CI/CD), configuration and installation, and best practice usage.
- Play an integral role in the design and deployment of Paas and SaaS-based Telecom applications within a continuous delivery environment
- Collaborate with internal teams to orchestrate new components into the solution stack
- Extensive hands-on work with popular automation and configuration management tools
- Continue refining your coding and scripting skills in a cloud services environment
- Need to work with multiple teams like Development, QA and performance teams
- Resolves administrative problems by coordinating preparation of reports, analyzing data, and identifying solutions.

What experience, education and requirements do you need?
- Minimum 5 years of experience installing and using Docker; understanding of cgroup linux kernel mechanism, CFS mode of operation, SDN toolstack (linux bridging, NATing, iptables utility) – or alternatively k8s/OKD/Openshift hands-on experience
- Creation of templates, containers, deployment configuration files.
- Knowledge and experience in management of containerized applications: Kubernetes, docker, public Kubernetes engines (Azure, Google, AWS).
- Experience of being IaaS user (one or more of KVM, Openstack, Hyper-V/MS System Centre, VMWare)
- Knowledge of how to use base Linux/UNIX operating system binaries for troubleshooting system & user processes – and how to understand their output
- Experience in Linux system administration (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian);
- Knowledge and experience in virtualization technologies: KVM, VMware;
- Understanding of Continuous Delivery and DevOps methods;
- Knowledge and experience in scripting (Ansible, bash).
- Using contemporary common configuration utilities such as ansible & puppet or having basic knowledge of their purpose and mode of operation
- Using contemporary and legacy monitoring utilities like Zabbix, icinga, collectd, Prometheus, heapster
- Sparse understanding of conceptions of software defined networks, cloud native applications and Platform as a Service
- Basic skills of troubleshooting today’s traditional network issues of IPv4, TCP, UDP and IPv4 routing and packet filtering (i.e. determining hosts availability, investigating connectivity issues between Linux hosts)
- Verbal Communication.

- University Degree in IT or related science
