Senior Test Automation Engineer (Java or Python)

Description of work task to be carried out:

This position is in OCP Hub Solution train where the team is implementing several data science models and data marts to supports the data scientists.

We are expanding our Data Lake and building strong capabilities and datamarts for enabling data democratisation. This project strongly contributes to this goal.

In this role you will work with some of the technologies below:

Hadoop Platform, Python, SQL, Robot Framework, GIT, Bash, AWS

Day to Day responsibilities:

Test scenario and test case preparation.
Test data preparation.
Implementing test automation scripts.
Implement python libraries as extension for Robot Framework.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for test libraries.
Identify and implement improvements and process automation for day to day tasks/challenges.
Test results analysis and defect reporting.
Release planning and reporting.

Description of knowledge and experience:

6+ years of development experience with Python or JAVA.
6+ years experience with database technologies.
6+ years experience with GIT.
4+ years experience with BDD tools such as Robot Framework, JBehave, Cucumber.
4+ years experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins / working knowledge of Devops.
3+ years experience with SQL and Database concepts.
Strong working experience with Linux and bash, experience with SQL and Database technologies.
