Job Description
Following Hitachi projects main task is to design vehicle installation and mountling using
PTC Creo And Catia V5 Cad Tools
Develop, integrate, and document electro/mechanical design integration using
computer-aided engineering tools.
Provide support to other engineering groups, production operations, suppliers, and
customers throughout the product life cycle handled in Global Product Lifecycle
Management (GPLM).
Support the vehicle assembly/manufacturing processes.
Support Management of Client & Suppliers
All Other Responsibilities Allocated From Reporting Manager.
The Vehicle Engineer background is bachelor's, master's, or PhD program in Mechanical
Engineering or a related technical field. He should have gained at least 5 years experience
in design vehicle physical integration for rolling stock. The Vehicle Engineer will be trained
and supervised by a Senior Vehicle Engineer (Supervisor), gaining experience in Design
Processes across Rolling stocks range from Metro to High Speed trains. The Vehicle
Engineer will report to Milan Operation, lead by the Reporting Manager. The Vehicle
Engineer Will Work With Several Stakeholders, Building Relationships/networking
TechM Associates;
Clients;
Suppliers;

Essential Requirements
experience and skills listed below:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering; MSc is a plus;
Good readiness of mechanical and electrical drawings;
Knowledge of computer-aided electrical engineering tools (PTC Creo and Catia V5 are
plus);
Knowledge of processes within PLM system (PTC Windchill);
Knowledge of the MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Visio, Access);
Knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes;
Commitment to work as part of a team;
Problem-solving abilities;
Attention to detail;
Strong organizational and communication skills;
Italian mother tongue;
English language is mandatory (multi-cultural environment).
