Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to enhance our IT service management capabilities, with a focus on the Security Incident Response module. In this role, you will design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions that streamline our security incident management processes. You will collaborate with security teams to gather requirements and ensure effective integration with other ServiceNow modules to improve our incident response capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and customize the Security Incident Response module to manage and automate the lifecycle of security incidents.
- Collaborate with security and IT teams to gather and analyze requirements for incident detection, reporting, and response workflows.
- Design and implement automated workflows for security incident escalation, investigation, and resolution.
- Create and manage Service Catalog items related to security services and incident reporting.
- Ensure seamless integration of Security Incident Response with other ServiceNow modules, such as Incident Management, Change Management, and Vulnerability Management.
- Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights into security incidents, trends, and response metrics.
- Stay current with cybersecurity best practices and ServiceNow updates to continuously improve our security posture.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the Security Incident Response module and integrated systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance.
Key Skills Needed:
- API Integration Experience
- Exposure to Security Incident Response Module and integrate the system with other 3rd party related applications
- Good to have knowledge on Vulnerability Response
- Certifications in SIR or VRM will be an added advantage
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in ServiceNow development and administration, with a focus on the Security Incident Response module.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS; familiarity with ServiceNow APIs and web services.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
