Responsibilities:
Define and develop the overall ServiceNow architecture and technical roadmap for the healthcare organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives and IT strategy.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and translate them into architectural designs and technical specifications.
Design and implement scalable and extensible ServiceNow solutions, including IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), and ServiceNow Platform modules.Lead and mentor a team of ServiceNow developers and administrators, providing guidance on best practices, design patterns, and architectural principles.
Establish and enforce architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices for ServiceNow development and configuration.Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical oversight to ensure that ServiceNow solutions meet performance, security, and scalability requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ServiceNow with other healthcare systems and applications, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.
Evaluate and recommend third-party ServiceNow applications, plugins, and integrations to extend platform functionality and meet business requirements.
Stay current with ServiceNow releases, updates, and emerging technologies, and evaluate their potential impact on the organization's IT architecture and strategy.
Provide thought leadership and strategic guidance on the use of ServiceNow to drive innovation, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the patient experience.
Required Skills
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in ServiceNow architecture and design, with a focus on large-scale implementations in the healthcare sector.
ServiceNow certification(s) such as Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), Certified Application Developer (CAD), or Certified System Administrator (CSA) required.
Extensive knowledge of ITIL processes and their application within a healthcare context, with a focus on IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM).
Demonstrated expertise in ServiceNow platform capabilities, including configuration, customization, scripting, and integration.Strong understanding of IT security principles and practices relevant to healthcare organizations, including HIPAA compliance requirements.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Proven track record of leading successful ServiceNow implementations from conception to deployment, including solution design, development, and optimization.Experience with agile methodologies and DevOps practices, with a focus on continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
Ability to think strategically, solve complex problems, and make data-driven decisions to drive business outcomes.Desired SkillsPreferred Qualifications:
Experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics, ServiceNow HR Service Delivery, or other advanced ServiceNow modules.Knowledge of healthcare IT standards and regulations such as HL7, FHIR, and Meaningful Use.
Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman Framework.Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
