Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in ServiceNow architecture, development, and administration.
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, HR, and others.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing ServiceNow solutions in complex environments.
  • Experience with ServiceNow integrations using APIs, MID servers, and integration hubs.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, GlideScript, and other scripting languages used in ServiceNow.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and Certified Implementation Specialist certifications preferred.

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience working with federal agencies or government clients.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Knowledge of security and compliance requirements for federal information systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Solution Design and Architecture:
    • Design and architect ServiceNow solutions that meet business requirements and align with industry best practices.
    • Develop technical architecture documents and maintain architectural standards and guidelines.
    • Ensure the scalability and reliability of the ServiceNow platform.
  2. Implementation and Integration:
    • Lead the implementation of ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM, HR, and other custom applications.
    • Oversee integrations with other enterprise systems and tools using APIs, MID servers, and integration hubs.
    • Ensure seamless data flow and interoperability between ServiceNow and other systems.
  3. Technical Leadership:
    • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team.
    • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
    • Mentor and train junior developers and other team members on ServiceNow development and configuration.
  4. Project Management:
    • Work closely with project managers to plan, execute, and deliver ServiceNow projects on time and within budget.
    • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Communicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders.
  5. Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.
    • Provide expert advice on how to leverage ServiceNow to improve business processes and achieve operational efficiencies.
    • Conduct workshops and presentations to demonstrate ServiceNow capabilities and solutions.
  6. Platform Maintenance and Optimization:
    • Oversee the ongoing maintenance and optimization of the ServiceNow platform.
    • Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance performance and user experience.
    • Ensure compliance with security and governance standards.
  7. Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain comprehensive documentation of ServiceNow configurations, customizations, and integrations.
    • Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights into system performance, usage, and compliance

Education

Any Graduate
