ServiceNow Cloud Discovery Developer

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Cloud Discovery Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform, specifically in Cloud Discovery, and will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cloud discovery solutions to enhance our IT asset management and configuration management capabilities.

Responsibilities:

Cloud Discovery Solution Development:
Design and develop cloud discovery solutions using ServiceNow Discovery module to identify and map cloud-based assets, configurations, and relationships.
Implement Discovery probes, sensors, patterns, and classifiers to discover cloud resources across multiple platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
Integration and Data Management:
Integrate ServiceNow Cloud Discovery with external cloud platforms, APIs, and third-party tools to gather comprehensive asset and configuration data.
Manage and normalize discovered data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency in the CMDB (Configuration Management Database).
Configuration Management and Automation:
Configure and maintain CMDB CI (Configuration Item) relationships, attributes, and data mappings for cloud resources, applications, and services.
Develop automation workflows and orchestration processes to automate asset discovery, reconciliation, and lifecycle management tasks.
Collaboration and Documentation:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT operations, infrastructure teams, and security teams to align cloud discovery processes with ITSM (IT Service Management) and ITOM (IT Operations Management) best practices.
Document technical designs, implementation plans, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and knowledge base articles for cloud discovery processes.
