Responsible To

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test and deploy high-quality software solutions that meet project requirements.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to ensure code quality.
Debug and troubleshoot software findings, defects, identifying root cause and implanting solutions.
Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to gather and refine project requirement.
Mentor junior developers, offering technical guidance and support as needed.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.
Contribute to process improvements and the evolution of development methodologies during the contract period.

Mandatory skills

Experience with Service Now ITSM, CRM and HRM suite of applications
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
Ability to analyze business requirements and support user acceptance testing.
ServiceNow Expertise: A deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform, including its architecture, capabilities, and modules. Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting language, such as JavaScript I essential.
Customization Skills: The ability to customize and configure ServiceNow applications to align with business processes. This includes creating custom forms, tables, workflows, and UI elements.
Integration Knowledge: Familiarity with ServiceNow integration methods and protocols such as REST, SOAP, Mid Servers, and Integration Hub. The developer should be capable of connecting ServiceNow with other systems and application.
Programming Proficiency: Developers should have a strong command of programming language, such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, or others.
Problem-Solving Abilities: Effective developers excel at identifying and solving complex problem. They should be skilled in troubleshooting, debugging finding innovative solution to technical challenges.

Certifications or Desired skills if any Service Now certifications desirable

Nice To Have Skills OAKS Expertise: In-depth knowledge and hands on experience with Ohio Administrative Knowledge System configuration, including understandign its modules, work fowls and configuration settings.

OAKS CRM Proficiency: Familiarity with Ohio Administrative Knowledge System Customer Relationship Management module, or similar CRM systems. Ability to configure, customize and integrate OAKS CRM to meet specifics organizational needs and ensure seamless data flow between ServiceNow and OAKS CR.
