Job Description:
· Major responsibilities of the team include coordinating, managing and performing technical activities for ServiceNow modules and working directly with our Production Support team
· Effective at documenting business requirements and conceptualizing those requirements into technical wireframes and following the SDLC lifecycle
· Work with an agile application engineering and operations teams to design and implement automated tasks in a variety of different methods focused on Service Now
· Assist in leading a team of software developers (Service Now) that are located offshore for strategic develop needs for the business
Experience Requirements:
· 3 + years direct experience as a Service Now administrator and configuring core ServiceNow modules including Change, Incident, Problem, Service Catalog, and Event management
· 3 + years direct experience with JavaScript is a Must for development of backend services
· Demonstrated understanding of Itil processes, operations and procedures
· Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies
· Advanced Scripting/Reporting and other classes are highly recommended
· 3 + years experience with automating processes through Service Now involving change, incident, problem and release management
· 3+ years experience working knowledge of relational databases
· 3 + years experience writing and managing restful APIs with hands on experience integrating APIs through 3rd party systems.
Skills:
· Demonstrable knowledge of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, Html, CSS & JQuery
· Experience developing highly interactive applications
· Working knowledge of NoSQL and SQL relational databases
· Follow best practices (test-driven development, continuous integration, Scrum, refactoring, code standards)
· Strong interpersonal skills (ability to communicate and build relationships with engineering, infrastructure and operations teams)
