proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer with a focus on ITSM integration, including configuration, customization, and development.Strong understanding of IT service management processes and best practices, particularly within an ITIL framework.
Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other scripting languages.Experience with ServiceNow modules such as Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, CMDB, and Service Catalog.Hands-on experience with ServiceNow integration techniques, including REST API, SOAP web services, MID Server, and data import/export.Familiarity with relational databases and SQL queries.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.ServiceNow certification(s) such as Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) or Certified Application Developer (CAD) is a plus
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with business analysts, IT stakeholders, and end-users to gather and analyze business requirements related to IT service management and process automation.
- Design and architect solutions within the ServiceNow platform to meet business needs, including IT service management, incident management, change management, problem management, and other ITIL processes.
- Develop and customize ServiceNow applications, modules, workflows, and scripts using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other scripting languages to extend platform functionality and improve user experience.
- Integrate ServiceNow with various IT systems, applications, and tools such as monitoring systems, CMDB, asset management, LDAP/Active Directory, email systems, and external databases to ensure data consistency and streamline IT operations.
- Design and implement automated workflows and orchestration processes within ServiceNow to automate routine tasks, enforce IT policies, and improve service delivery efficiency.
- Configure ServiceNow modules, forms, UI policies, notifications, and access controls to align with business requirements and enhance usability.
- Plan and execute data migration activities to transfer data from legacy systems into ServiceNow, ensuring data integrity and consistency throughout the migration process.
- Develop and execute test cases, perform unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing to validate solution functionality and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Create technical documentation, including design documents, configuration guides, and user manuals. Provide training and knowledge transfer to IT staff and end-users on ServiceNow features, functionalities, and best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features, releases, and industry trends. Identify opportunities for process improvement, optimization, and innovation within the IT service management landscape.
