Responsibilities

  • Develop and document best practices for the County’s use of Servicenow.
  • Gather requirements from the County’s business units and apply Servicenow methodology.
  • Drive adoption of Servicenow.
  • CMDB development and administration
  • Identify and report on potential improvements in business processes using servicenow.
  • Manage the service portfolio such as identifying services, documenting, and tracking service lifecycle from Requirements to Sunset.  
  • Help develop cost models and service level objectives for services.  
  • Perform peer reviews of “operational” services.
  • Manage subscriptions, perform capacity planning.
  • Develop Knowledgebase, write knowledge articles.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Subject Matter Expert with Servicenow business processes.
  • Subject Matter Expert with Servicenow reporting and dashboards
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff.
  • Project Management
  • Technical Writing
  • Experience working in a Government environment with an understanding of a Government’s administrative processes.

 

Experience and Education:

  • Minimum of 5 years as Business System Administrator supporting an enterprise environment of over 10,000 staff.
  • Thirty (30) semester (45 quarter) units of completed, post high-school coursework from an accredited university or technical school in Computer Information Systems, Business/Public Administration, or a closely related field
