We are looking for a highly skilled ServiceNow Discovery Specialist to join our team.
This role will focus on the development, optimization, and maintenance of ServiceNow Discovery, including Service Mapping and integration with IT service management processes.
The successful candidate will collaborate across IT teams to enhance and automate business processes using ServiceNow, ensuring alignment with best practices and the Agile framework.
Qualifications:
Expertise in ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and CMDB management.
Strong understanding of network protocols such as SNMP, WMI, SSH.
Solid understanding of Agile frameworks and ceremonies.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Familiarity with ServiceNow’s advanced features such as CMDB, Service Mapping, and automated discovery tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
Expertise in ServiceNow Discovery, including Service Mapping, features and functionality
Creates and maintains custom patterns, probes, and sensors to accommodate internal discovery requirements.
Understanding of network protocols (e.g., SNMP, WMI, SSH)
Knowledge of CMDB structure and data relationships
Ability to align discovery data with IT service management processes
Participates in platform upgrade planning, testing, and validation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Participate in the design, development, and implementation of enhancements of Service-now instances.
Document system and application architectures and maintain the Service-Now platform for Enterprise Information Systems (EIS).
Solid understanding of Agile Framework and ceremonies (e.g., Standups, review, refinement)
Design, develop, optimize, and enhance Service-now application software to deliver solutions that automate and audit business processes.
Solid understanding of the application development lifecycle process, including requirement analysis, quality assurance, design, scheduling, implementation, issue tracking, version control release management and deployment.
Understanding of network protocols, including SNMP, WMI, and SSH.
Ability to align discovery data with IT service management processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot issues and provide innovative solutions.
