Job Description:

Experienced, well-rounded Qlik developer for an opportunity in the DC/VA area. In this role, the developer will be responsible for the delivery, strategic direction, and technical leadership of the delivery team on a high profile project.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience 3-5+ Year of experience working directly with Qlik Sense.

Requirements:

Qlik Hands-on professional with thorough knowledge of scripting, data source integration and advanced GUI development in Qlik Sense
Experience developing and architecting Qlik Solutions Experience installing  & configuring Qlik Sense
Experience with statistical tools a plus
Technical Lead experience Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills
Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills
Results-driven with the ability to take initiatives, handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities and meet deadlines
Must have a strong ability and desire to assimilate and apply knowledge as well as to spread acquired knowledge and experience to other team members.

Developer Role:

Responsibilities and Essential Duties

3-5+ years of experience working directly with Qlik Sense as Developer and Architect.
Work with IT and business stakeholders to understand business needs, validate the requirements, and transform them into analytics applications
Perform data model design and implementation using the Qlik associative data model and Qlik Script Editor
Integrate reporting components from multiple data sources
Create and deploy Qlik load scripts to load and build the data model and associated QVD’s
Effective analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple concurrent assignments and meet specified milestones
Strong oral and written English language communications skills Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related degree (or equivalent work experience)
Solid understanding of the concepts and practices of data model design including multidimensional and relational reporting and analysis techniques
Experience in optimizing dashboards with focus on usability, performance, flexibility and standardization
Experience in end-to-end implementation of BI projects for developing a portfolio of scorecards, KPIs, reports & dashboards
Experience in writing and debugging SQL queries.

Required:

3-5+ years of experience developing BI solutions with Qlik software.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience
Strong UX and visual design skills.
3-5+ years of experience in a data warehouse environment.
3-5+ years of experience using SQL to build stored procedures, views, functions.
Experience working in an Agile development methodology.
Knowledge of data quality, data profiling and data cleansing techniques.

Preferred:

Experience with NPrinting a plus
Experience using Qlik extensions a plus.
Experience working in AWS cloud environment is a plus
3-5+ years of experience with business intelligence tools preferred
Qlik View or Qlik Sense certification a big plus
