Snowflake Developer

Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS (must haves):

Excitement to learn new things 
6+ years of experience building complex distributed systems
2+ years using Snowflake in end to end solutions
Team player

Experience with one of the following is required:

Identifying and overcoming performance bottlenecks
Identifying and overcoming scalability challenges
Putting together disparate data into a consolidated view
Working on a scalable and distributed system in public clouds
Expert in SQL and the Python programming language

DAILY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work across functions and across teams - we don’t only work on code that we own, we work with other parts of Snowflake every day
Design and develop features in snowflake, understand customer requirements and meet business goals
Build highly reliable snowflake solutions to meet the needs of the largest customers
Enhance the programmability surface of Snowflake and improve the experience of the data developer
Analyze fault-tolerance and high availability issues, performance and scale challenges, and solve them
Ensure operational readiness of the services and meet the commitments to our customers regarding reliability, availability and performance
