Summary:
The Content Platform team is looking for a Software Development Engineer. who will act as first level support for all incoming production software application issues dealing with merchandising applications. Your solutions will impact on our customers directly! Primary responsibilities include developing monitoring solutions, troubleshooting/debugging and implementing the fix for internally developed code (Perl, C/C++, JAVA), performing SQL queries, improving our systems that gather metrics on our features, updating, tracking and resolving technical challenges. Responsibilities also include working alongside development on company Corporate and Divisional Software projects, updating/enhancing our current software, automation of support processes and documentation of our systems.
Key job responsibilities:
As a Software Engineer, you will collaborate with Data Engineers, Software Development Managers and other SDEs across the company to develop, test, and launch
Take end to end ownership of the software development life cycle. This includes design, testing and deployment
Be very hands-on; work with the engineering team to manage the day-to-day development activities by leading architecture decisions, participating in designs, design review, code review, and implementation
Champion operational, technical and process improvements
Work with your manager and other engineers in delivering to the roadmap
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Go programming language
Knowledge of working with containers
Experience contributing to open source projects
Compensation:
The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
