Job Description

Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, and networks.Good to have strong SQL, Understanding of Cerner Millennium Architecture and Cerner Millennium Data Model.Good to have knowledge in CCL (Cerner Command Language), Discern Explorer, Discern Visual Developer, and Olympus(preferred).Gather requirements to determine the scope of work and plan for on-time delivery.Ability to work self-sufficiently on assigned time-sensitive tasks.Develop and maintain good relationships with peers and clients, and provide timely feedback to encourage success.Strong communication skills with excellent interpersonal skills both in written and verbal correspondence.Ability to learn and adapt to changing landscape and acquire new skills with technology advancement and to work, and coordinate with global teams.

Responsibilities

As a member of the software engineering division, you will use basic knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture.
Must have moderate knowledge of writing queries and any programming language.
Ability to perform query optimizations of Oracle-level queries or CCL-level queries.
Ability to resolve basic, moderate, and complex issues promptly.
Perform basic, moderate, and complex fixes, investigations, document notes, and knowledge articles.
Ability to estimate requirements and plan for completion of assignments and work.
Good to have CCL Skills - CCL (Cerner Command Language), Custom Reporting
